Turn Off/On Auto-Play Message Effects
Make sure to disable Reduce Motion on your device. When it’s turned on, the motion of the user interface including the parallax effect of app icons is reduced. Hence, Bubble Effect doesn’t work at its best when it’s enabled. Step #1. Launch Settings app → Tap on Accessibility Step #2. Tap on Reduce Motion. Step #3. Toggle off the switch. Make sure to toggle off the switch next to “Auto-Play Message Effects” as well. Step #4. Finally, reboot your device: If you are using iPhone 6s, iPhone SE or earlier, hold the on/off button and Home button at once. On iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, You need to press sleep/wake button and volume down button. On your iPhone 8, X, or iPhone 11 Series, press and release volume up button, press and release volume down button and press and hold the side button. Step #6. Once your iPhone has restarted, turn on “Auto-Play Message Effects” switch. Then, try to send the iMessage with bubble effects. It should work now. If you have disabled the Auto-Play Message Effects, you will need to tap on the replay button to see the bubble/screen effects.
Reset All Settings
Step #1. Open Settings app → Tap on General. Step #2. Scroll down and tap on Reset → Tap on Reset All Settings. Step #3. If you have enabled the passcode, you need to enter it → Tap on Reset All Settings again to confirm. That’s it! Now, try to use Bubble Effects again. Most probably, it should start working as usual.
